Mumbai November 29, 2024 (Punjab Khabarnama Bureau) – TV personality and Congress leader Navjot Singh Sidhu is appearing on ‘The Great Indian Kapil Show’ these days. He recently revealed on Kapil Sharma’s show that his wife boiled neem leaves in water and drank it during her battle with cancer. She used turmeric and defeated cancer. Many big medical institutions and doctors including Tata Memorial had called Navjot Sidhu’s claim false. Recently, actress and cancer survivor Rozlyn Khan has sent a legal notice to Navjot Singh and Kapil Sharma. She has also demanded that both of them apologize publicly.
According to a report, actress Rozlyn’s lawyer Ali Qasim Khan Deshmukh said that the recent claim made by Navjot Singh Sidhu about his wife defeating cancer is against medical science and has no basis.
False claims can mislead people
Roslyn’s lawyer said- Roslyn Khan is a cancer survivor and she feels that such false claims and incorrect information can mislead people. He said that due to such false claims, people will not trust medical science and will start believing in such remedies which have no scientific evidence. In such a situation, a legal notice has been sent to her.
When Rozlyn Khan’s lawyer was asked why a notice was sent to Kapil Sharma and Netflix in this case, he said that Navjot Sidhu had made such a claim in Kapil’s show. Netflix also streamed it on its platform and crores of people watched it. Therefore, those people can also be misled.
If an apology is not made, the matter will go to court.
Now actress Rozlyn Khan has placed three demands in front of Kapil Sharma and Navjot Sidhu. 14 days have been given to fulfill these demands. According to the actress’s lawyer, if these demands are not met then the matter will go to court.
Apologize on the same platform
Rozlyn has said that Kapil Sharma and Navjot Sidhu should publicly apologize using the same platform of Netflix where such false claims about cancer were made. Not only this, Netflix should also immediately remove that episode. Along with this, it was also demanded that Kapil Sharma and his team should refrain from making or promoting such false claims in future.
Rozlyn Khan’s lawyer said that he suspects that Navjot Singh Sidhu is trying to take political advantage of a life-threatening and serious disease like cancer. His political agenda may be involved in this. The lawyer said that Navjot Singh Sidhu is using a disease like cancer to woo voters and get their sympathy.
