Moga, May 12, 2025 : Under the guidelines of the Department of Social Security and Women and Child Development, Punjab, regular checks of school buses are being conducted in the Moga district as part of the Safe School Vehicle Policy. Schools that violate the government’s instructions are being penalized according to the rules of the Safe School Vehicle Policy for their school vehicles. This information was provided by Moga District Child Protection Officer, Mrs. Parmjeet Kaur.
She mentioned that if any school vehicle continues to violate the Safe School Vehicle Policy while transporting children or if there are any other complaints or information regarding this, it should be reported to the Child Helpline at 1098. This will ensure that appropriate action is taken to prioritize the safety of children. She also appealed to parents to cooperate with the administration for the safety of their children.
