₹69.38 Crore Project to Transform Roads in Bathinda, Mansa, Bhikhi

Bathinda, 8 Aug 2025 : While the government is completing development works on a priority basis, it is also fully committed to transforming the condition of roads so that common people do not face any kind of problem. This information was shared by Deputy Commissioner Mr. Shaukat Ahmed Parray.

Providing further details in this regard, the Deputy Commissioner said that with an estimated cost of about ₹69.38 crore, the renovation of National Highway-148B from the local D-Mart to Bhikhi and National Highway-703 from Mansa Kanchian to Ramditta Chowk will be carried out.

During this, the Deputy Commissioner also mentioned that along with the repair of the Bathinda-Mansa railway underbridge, a shed will also be constructed so that pedestrians passing through the Bathinda railway underbridge can be relieved from the problem of rainwater accumulation.

Summary:
The Deputy Commissioner announced that Bathinda, Mansa, and Bhikhi roads will undergo major upgrades costing ₹69.38 crore, aiming to improve infrastructure, traffic flow, and road safety.
