Chandigarh 25 Sep 2025: Large investment projects are continuously coming to Punjab. Addressing a press conference, Cabinet Minister Sanjeev Arora announced a major investment plan. He said that Infosys Limited is going to build a new campus in Mohali district at a cost of ₹300 crore, which will be developed on 30 acres of land.
In the first phase, the area will cover 3 lakh square feet, providing 2,500 jobs, all of which will be high-grade positions. He added that Infosys Limited has been operating in Mohali since 2017, and it is now being expanded. Sanjeev Arora said that due to the efforts of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and Arvind Kejriwal, Punjab is continuously moving towards development and attracting investment projects. Approvals are being given to businesses within 45 days for investment. Now, investors themselves are coming forward to invest in Punjab.
