Hyundai Motor India Limited

Delhi, December 5, 2024 (Navroze Bureau) – If you are planning to buy a car in the new year, then this news is for you. Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) has announced that the prices of all models will be increased from January 1, 2025. The company said that the biggest reason behind this decision is the increase in input cost, impact of exchange rate and logistics cost.

How much will the prices increase?

Tarun Garg, Vice President and COO of the company, said, “We always try to prevent rising costs from reaching the customers but now due to the continuous increase in costs, it has become necessary to increase the prices slightly. Prices may increase by up to Rs 25,000. This change will be applicable to all MY25 models. This increase will be effective from January 1, 2025.

When was the last time prices increased

Hyundai Motor India had increased prices in January 2023 and April 2024. In January 2023, prices were increased by an average of 1.5%-2% across all models due to rising input costs. In April 2024, prices were increased due to updates made to the models due to BS6 Phase-II norms.
