Big Trouble in Punjab: Major Announcement from 12 Noon to 3 PM

This is important news for the people of Punjab.

Tarn Taran,December 17, 2024 (Navroze Bureau) –   Satnam Singh Pannu, state leader of the Kisan Mazdoor Sangharsh Committee, Punjab, said that during the nationwide agitation for the last 10 months, farmers marching on foot towards Delhi on the Shambhu Khanuri and Ratanpur (Rajasthan) borders were brutally treated.

The Modi government and the Constitution of the country have once again made the farmers and laborers feel like they are living in a different country by strangling the freedom to protest every day. Therefore, to expose the tyrannical face of the Modi government and against sending the three black agricultural laws that were repealed during the first Delhi movement on November 25 to the states for implementation in the name of agricultural marketing policy, it has been announced to hold protests from 12 noon to 3 pm on both platforms. To make the call to stop trains on December 18 a success, all preparations have been completed in 18 districts of Punjab.

Lakhs of farmers, labourers, women, youth, small shopkeepers, small traders from all over Punjab will participate in this train roko movement. Describing Delhi Movement 2 as a struggle to save the whole society, the farmer leader said that the Modi government is working on the agenda of ending the agricultural market and declaring silo warehouses as Mandi yards and shifting 68 crore farmers from farming to cheap labour. Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has also maintained a conspiratorial silence on the farmers’ movement and all the opposition parties are also standing idle in front of the corporate attack, hence a strong appeal has been made to the farmer-labourer organizations across the country to unite and choose the path of fierce struggle.
