Deputy Commissioner Reviews PDA Development Projects

Patiala, December 31: Deputy Commissioner Dr. Preeti Yadav reviewed the ongoing development projects of the Patiala Development Authority (PDA) and instructed PDA, Municipal Corporation, Electricity Board, and other departments to expedite the projects through coordinated efforts.

Dr. Yadav assessed projects, including the transfer of seven PDA sites to the Municipal Corporation, progress on the Heritage Street, and renovation of Chhoti Nadi and Badi Nadi. Key officials, including PDA Chief Administrator Manisha Rana, Municipal Commissioner Dr. Rajat Oberoi, and other department heads, attended the meeting.

She specifically reviewed the transfer process for sites near Akal Complex, Amar Ashram, Gurudwara Dukh Nivaran Sahib, and others, directing timely completion. Dr. Yadav emphasized prioritizing pending works on the Heritage Street and obtaining necessary NOCs for river renovation projects. Officials from the Forest Department, Drainage, and other agencies were present to ensure smooth progress.
