Talwara, October 1:
As part of the Swachhata Pakhwada, an exhibition cricket match was organized by the Bhakra Beas Management Board (BBMB) at the Nursery Ground, Talwara, under the directions of Chief Engineer Rakesh Gupta. The match was played between the BBMB DAV School team and the BBMB team, with the BBMB team emerging victorious.
While sharing more detail, Chief Engineer Rakesh Gupta said that various activities were organized by BBMB during the Swachhata Pakhwada with the objective of keeping the surroundings clean as well as creating awareness among the public. He said that the exhibition cricket match was also organized as a part of these efforts to promote social participation and public awareness.
On the occasion, Deputy Chief Engineer Manveen Choudhary, Deputy Chief Engineer Prabodh Kumar, Additional Superintending Engineer Vinay Kumar (Secretary, Sports, BBMB), Executive Engineer Harpreet Singh and Principal Rohit Salaria were present as special guests.
Sports Manager Kewal Singh, SDO Dheeraj Kumar and Dharminder Singh played an important role in organizing the exhibition match.
