Block-Level Meetings Held in Malla, Dod and Jhakhrawala Under ‘Yudh Nashian Virudh’ Campaign

Jaito, October 8:

Block-level meetings were organized in the villages of Malla, Dod and Jhakhrawala under the ‘Yudh Nashian Virudh’ (War Against Drugs) campaign. Discussions were held on preventing drug abuse, keeping youth away from drugs and further strengthening public participation at the village level.

Villagers, elected representatives of the village panchayats and officials and employees of the concerned departments participated in the meetings. Emphasis was laid on creating awareness about the harmful effects of drugs and making collective efforts to build a drug-free society.

During the meetings, villagers were urged to actively support the anti-drug campaign being conducted by the government and administration and to immediately inform the concerned authorities about any drug-related activity in their surroundings.

Those present on the occasion included SHO Bajakhana Police Station Hardeep Singh, Constituency Coordinator Makhan Singh Jhakhrawala, Block Coordinator Gurdhir Singh Ghaniyan, Sarpanch Inderjit Singh Dhillon of Jhakhrawala, Amandeep Singh Amna Dhillon, Kulwinder Singh Sandhu, Chand Singh Khokhar, Rajinder Singh, Subedar Hardial Singh, Surjit Singh Dhillon, Sohan Singh Brar, Panch Swaran Singh, Panch Lakhbir Singh, Jarnail Singh Beera, Balraj Singh Raja, Darshan Singh Dhillon, Resham Singh, Panchayat Secretary Ravi Aggarwal, Field Officer Vijay Kumar, Balwant Singh Sandhu and other village residents.
