Moga 3rd January: Additional District Magistrate of Moga, Mrs. Charumita, has issued several restrictions under Section 163 of the Indian Citizen Security Code, 2023 (Section 144 of the Criminal Procedure Code, 1973). These orders will remain in effect until 28th February 2025.
- Ban on Posters and Images on Public and Government Buildings:
A ban has been imposed on placing posters, pictures, or handwritten materials on public properties and government buildings to maintain the aesthetic appeal of these spaces. Violations will lead to strict legal action. - Cyber Cafe Owners Must Maintain Identification Registers:
Cyber cafe owners have been directed to establish identification registers. They must record the personal details (name, address, mobile number, etc.) of every individual using the cyber cafe. Any suspicious activity must be reported to the local police station. Owners must also ensure that no unidentified individuals use their facilities. - Parking Regulations for Marriage Palaces:
All marriage palace owners are required to ensure that parking for events takes place within their premises and not on government-designated roads. This is to prevent accidents and ease traffic issues. Legal action will be taken against owners who fail to comply.
