“Pushpa 2” shines at the box office, emerging as the biggest blockbuster film

Chandigarh, January 7, 2025 : “Pushpa 2: The Rule” shows no signs of slowing down at the box office. It has been 33 days since its release, and the film continues to enjoy immense love from the audience. However, on the fifth Monday, the film’s earnings saw a decline. Despite this, it has set a new record. On the 33rd day, the film’s earnings dropped by 65%, making only ₹2.5 crore. Nevertheless, it has broken all box office records. Despite the dip, the film continues to shatter records with its remarkable performance. In its first week, it earned ₹725.8 crore, and in the second week, it made ₹264.8 crore. During the third and fourth weeks, the collections slowed down, with the film earning ₹129.5 crore and ₹69.65 crore, respectively.

According to initial figures from Sacnilk.com, the film saw a significant 65% drop in box office earnings on its fifth Monday, making approximately ₹2.5 crore. The start of the fifth week was slow, earning ₹3.75 crore on Friday, ₹5.5 crore on Saturday, and ₹7.2 crore on Sunday. Monday’s collection was ₹2.5 crore, bringing the total earnings for the fifth week to ₹18.95 crore.

The film’s total net box office collection in India is now around ₹1208.7 crore. A notable achievement for the film is that its Hindi version has crossed ₹800 crore, making it the first Hindi release to reach this milestone.

“Pushpa 2: The Rule” has earned an impressive ₹1800 crore in just four weeks, solidifying its status as a blockbuster. Directed by Sukumar, the film stars Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil in key roles, with Allu Arjun’s stellar performance winning the hearts of the audience.
