Chandigarh 7 march 2025 : A meeting of the internal committee of the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) was held today, during which the services of the Jathedars of two Takhts were terminated. SGPC member Kulwant Singh Pudan informed journalists after the meeting that during today’s session, the services of Giani Raghbir Singh as Jathedar were ended. However, he will continue to serve as the head Granthi at Sri Darbar Sahib. Additionally, Giani Sultan Singh, the Jathedar of Kesgarh Sahib, has also been retired. He will remain the head Granthi of Takht Sri Kesgarh Sahib.
