Students Lead Anti-Drug Rally with Powerful Message

Amloh/Fatehgarh Sahib, April 10: Under the directions of Deputy Commissioner Dr. Sona Thind, students of the Government Elementary School in village Kalal Majra, Block Amloh, took out an awareness rally as part of the “War Against Drugs” campaign. During the rally, the school children conveyed a strong message to the villagers to stay away from drugs and live a drug-free life.

In this regard, Amloh SDM Chetan Bangar stated that the “War Against Drugs” campaign initiated by the Punjab Government will play a vital role in the creation of a drug-free Punjab. He emphasized that every individual in society must contribute to help rescue the younger generation from the clutches of drug addiction. He added that the district administration is conducting awareness activities in various villages of the sub-division under this campaign to ensure its success at the grassroots level.

Mr. Chetan Bangar also mentioned that flex banners have been put up in villages to spread awareness about the WhatsApp number issued by the Punjab Government for reporting drug traffickers. People are being encouraged to share information about drug dealers through this number. He further added that various departments are organizing awareness rallies in villages to support this initiative.

Summary: School students took to the streets in an awareness rally, promoting a drug-free lifestyle and spreading the message against substance abuse.
