₹2.10 Crore Development Projects Inaugurated by MLA Jagdeep Kamboj Goldy

Jalalabad, April 16, 2025: Under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann and in accordance with the directions of Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains, the Punjab Education Revolution Program has been launched. As part of this initiative, Jalalabad MLA Jagdeep Kamboj Goldy today inaugurated development projects worth ₹2 crore 9 lakh 81 thousand in various government schools across the constituency’s villages.

During the occasion, he dedicated projects worth ₹1 crore 25 lakh 49 thousand to the public at the Government Senior Secondary School in Chak Vairoke. Similarly, development projects worth ₹53 lakh 66 thousand were inaugurated at the Government Primary School in village Kathgarh and projects worth ₹30 lakh 66 thousand at the Government High School in the same village.

While addressing the public, Jagdeep Kamboj Goldy stated that the state government is making major improvements in the basic infrastructure of schools. He mentioned that Wi-Fi internet connectivity has been provided in 17,000 schools across the state. He also highlighted that, for the first time, all schools have been enclosed with four walls to create a better academic environment.

On this occasion, he shared that two Schools of Eminence have been established in the constituency. He noted that the positive changes in the education sector are also reflected in the annual academic results. Present alongside him were District Education Coordinator Devaraj Sharma and representatives from the Education Department.

Additionally, sports kits were distributed to students, and outstanding students were honored during the event.
