Faridkot, May 1 : A meeting was held by Deputy Commissioner Madam Poonamdeep Kaur with various departmental officials in her office regarding the NEET exam to be held on May 4, 2025, Sunday, in the district of Faridkot.
The Deputy Commissioner instructed the Education Department, Police Department, and other officials to make thorough arrangements for the successful conduct of the NEET exam. She mentioned that no errors would be tolerated in arrangements such as staffing at exam centers, traffic plans, etc.
The Deputy Commissioner informed that the exam would be held at Dr. Mahinder Singh Sambhi Government Girls Senior Secondary School, Faridkot, and Kendriya Vidyalaya, Faridkot. To ensure the smooth conduct of the NEET exam and address any issues related to it, Madam Tushita Gulati, Assistant Commissioner (Complaints), was appointed as the nodal officer by the district administration. A helpline number, 98142-56584 (Shri Pradeep Diwra, Deputy DEO), was also issued for students facing any difficulties.
She emphasized that the NEET exam would be conducted in a transparent and smooth manner, and all officers must diligently perform their duties.
The Deputy Commissioner appealed to the candidates to reach the exam centers by 1:30 PM to avoid any last-minute problems. The exam will be conducted from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Entry into the exam centers will only be allowed with an admit card, and candidates must carry their Aadhaar card as a proof of identification. She advised candidates to read the instructions and guidelines mentioned on the admit card to avoid any issues during the exam.
