Missile Part Found in Punjab’s Border Village, Triggers Panic

Amritsar 08 May 2025 : Panic gripped Jethuwal village in Amritsar after a part of a missile was found there on Thursday.

Police officials said they could not ascertain whether it was part of an Indian or a Pakistani missile.

“There was neither any explosion nor any impact on the ground,” said SSP Amritsar rural Maninder Singh.

People did not hear any sound of explosion in the village. The people found it lying in the agricultural fields in Jethuwal village and informed the police.

Police and forensic teams have been examining it, he said.
