Indian Army Shoots Down Two Pakistani JF-17 Jets and Destroys Missiles

Punjab 09 May 2025 : In an attack tonight, the Indian Army shot down two Pakistani fighter jets, JF-17. Several missiles were also destroyed. It is reported that on Saturday night, Pakistan launched 8 missiles towards the areas of Satwari, Samba, RS Pura, and Arnia in Jammu, all of which were intercepted in time by the Indian Air Defense System. None of the missiles hit their targets.

It is also reported that late in the evening, Pakistan launched an attack on Jammu’s airport, followed by an attack near Mamun Cant, close to the Pathankot Army Airbase. After that, a complete blackout was enforced in Punjab’s Gurdaspur, Pathankot, Hoshiarpur, Batala, Jalandhar, and Ludhiana. In Jalandhar, an attempt to attack using drones was also made, but the air defense system thwarted all these attacks.
