May 13, 2025: After his recent film Akaal did not perform as expected, Gippy Grewal is now preparing for the sequel Singh vs Kaur 2, which is soon set to begin its shooting phase.
Presented by Humble Motion Pictures, this action-drama film will be produced by Ravneet Kaur Grewal and Gippy Grewal, while the direction will be handled by Navaniat Singh, who also directed the first installment and has directed numerous successful and multi-starrer Punjabi and Hindi films.
A sequel to the 2013 action-comedy hit Singh vs Kaur, the new film will once again feature Gippy Grewal in the lead role. Besides Gippy, the film will also include several well-known faces from both Bollywood and Pollywood in important roles.
Apart from being shot in Punjab, parts of the film may also be filmed in the United Kingdom. The screenplay is being written by Inderpal Singh, who has previously penned and directed several meaningful and well-received Punjabi films.
This will be the third film recently announced by Pollywood star singer and actor Gippy Grewal under his home production banner. Apart from this sequel, he has also announced Jatt James Bond 2 and Carry On Jatta 4 in recent days.
Singh vs Kaur 2 is already generating buzz in cinema circles and will be launched on a grand scale. Gippy Grewal and his production team are expected to officially reveal further details about the film very soon.
