Punjab 14 May 2025 : In another major decision towards creating ‘Rangla Punjab,’ the Punjab government has announced the formation of the ‘Rangla Punjab Society.’ The state government will soon launch this historic society, which will be developed with public participation. Regarding this, Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann stated that now every Punjabi will play a role in the development of Punjab.
NRIs and industrialists from both India and abroad will be able to donate to this society. Every penny that comes in will be used in a transparent manner. The funds received will be directly invested in health, education, roads, water, startups, and research. Additionally, during times of disaster or crisis, this fund will also be used to assist the public.
A governing board will be formed under the chairmanship of the Chief Minister. Along with the ministers, the Chief Secretary will also be made a member. Every donation and project received by this society will be publicly audited to ensure no room for manipulation. Chief Minister Mann emphasized that this is not a ‘Rangla Punjab Fund,’ but rather a movement that will begin with public participation.
