28 May 2025 : Weather conditions are expected to change again in Punjab on Thursday. Until 30 May, several districts in the state may experience dust storms with wind speeds of 50 to 60 kilometers per hour. Light rainfall is also likely, and hailstorms may occur in some areas. In this regard, the Meteorological Department in Chandigarh has issued an orange alert.
Meanwhile, on Tuesday, Ludhiana and Bathinda were the hottest places in Punjab. In both districts, the maximum temperature crossed 40 degrees Celsius — with Ludhiana recording 40.6°C and Bathinda 40°C.
