Pakistani Drones Hover Over Punjab Border, Sparking Fear Among Locals

Punjab,  09 June 2025 : Once again, suspicious drones were seen hovering over the India-Pakistan international border, causing panic among people living in the border areas. On Sunday afternoon, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha’s visit to Kathua concluded peacefully, but just a few hours later, around 9 PM, local residents spotted dozens of suspicious drones in the sky, from Hiranagar to the Kathua district headquarters.

In the Hiranagar sector, people from the Indian village of Maniyari, located near the international border, saw four suspicious drones flying in the sky at night. At the same time, more than a dozen drones were spotted flying near the Chakandar feeder in Ward Number 13 of Kathua district headquarters by local residents. According to eyewitnesses, these drones were seen flying from the lower areas of Kathua towards Punjab. Following this incident, there is a fearful atmosphere among the locals. Security agencies, considering the seriousness of the matter, are on alert and a thorough investigation of the entire incident is underway.
