The meteorological department stated that two new western disturbances are forming over Punjab and Rajasthan. Due to their influence, rain is expected in mountainous areas, northern plains, and northeastern states by the end of this week. The weather department has issued a dense fog alert for Monday in Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Uttar Pradesh, and Madhya Pradesh. Additionally, dense fog is predicted in Delhi, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Rajasthan, western Bengal, Sikkim, Bihar, Odisha, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura during morning and evening hours.
Rain The weather department stated that no rainfall is expected in any northern state on Monday. However, light showers are expected in some parts of Rajasthan. Light rain is also predicted for northeastern Indian states today. Furthermore, light rain is expected in parts of Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal, and Kerala.
