A two-day international conference on “Pharmacy Horizons: Pharmaceutical Research and Development with Pioneering Trends” was organized by School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Rimut University in collaboration with APTI, Punjab State Branch and Society of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (SPR). More than 600 people from all over the world participated through online and offline medium. The researchers presented their research papers and posters. The first day of the conference. All the dignitaries and delegates were warmly welcomed by Dr. Sanjeev Mittal, Director, Department of Pharmacy, Rimut University, and Dr. Jaspreet Kaur, Principal, College of Pharmacy. After the start of the conference, he discussed about the basic points of research and development in the field of pharmacy and informed about the importance and objectives of the conference. After him, Chancellor of Rimut University Dr. Vijayant Bansal appreciated the efforts of the department and wished him all the best. On the first day of the conference on 12th November 2024, more than 600 people from all over the world participated online and offline. Various researchers presented their research papers and posters in the conference. Presented Pro Vice Chancellor Dr. B.S. Bhatia congratulated the staff members, students and participants of the Faculty of Pharmacy for the successful organization of the event. The session on the first day of the conference started with a speech by Sushil Kumar Bansal, President, Punjab State Pharmacy Council, followed by APTI India President and Chief Guest Dr. Milind Umekar, APTI (Punjab State Branch) Chairperson and Professor, Pharmaceutical Sciences and Department of Drug Research, Punjabi University, Patiala Dr. Gulshan Bansal presented his views on the subject. In the first clinical session of the first day, Dr. Also R. Palanimuthu, Professor, “Queen’s University Belfast, Northern Ireland” delivered the lecture and the second session was chaired by Dr. Nasir A. Siddiqui Professor, Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, King Saud University, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. At the end of the conference, Prof. Rashmi thanked Dr. Parminder Nain, Dean, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Rimut University for the achievements of the conference. Said that the conference was very important for the faculty members and students in which the students of various institutes learned a lot.
