Patiala 03 June 2025: A tragic incident has been reported from the Commando Training Complex in Bahadurgarh, where an ASI (Assistant Sub-Inspector) died due to a gunshot wound. The deceased has been identified as 41-year-old Manpreet Singh, a father of two daughters. Manpreet was deputed in the Special Operation Group (SOG) for the security of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann.
It is being reported that Manpreet had applied for leave to visit his home. When he reached his quarters, a gunshot was heard, resulting in his death. At present, it is being investigated whether this was a case of suicide or if the shot was fired due to some other reason. The truth will only be revealed after the police investigation.
