20 Aug 2026 (Navroze Bureau) :The Red Cross Society of the Bhakra Beas Management Board (BBMB), under the guidance of Chief Engineer Rakesh Gupta, has donated two air conditioners to BBMB Hospital, Talwara, to provide greater comfort to patients visiting the hospital and further improve its facilities.
BBMB Red Cross Society Chairperson Mrs. Seema Gupta shared this information. She said that the BBMB Red Cross Society has always given priority to public welfare initiatives. She added that the air conditioners were donated to the hospital in view of the country’s 80th Independence Day.
Red Cross Secretary Mrs. Dimple said that both air conditioners have been installed in the hospital and will provide considerable comfort and benefit to patients.
BBMB Hospital Principal Medical Officer Dr. Surinderpal Singh expressed his gratitude to the BBMB Red Cross Society for providing the air conditioners. He said that the organisation’s support in improving hospital facilities is highly commendable.
