Commercial LPG cylinder price cut by ₹51.50; domestic rates unchanged from today

1 Sep 2025: The month of September has brought good news for customers—especially those who use LPG cylinders in hotels, restaurants, or other commercial purposes. Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) have once again reduced the price of commercial LPG cylinders.

This time, the price of a 19 kg commercial gas cylinder has been reduced by ₹51.50. After the cut, the new price of this cylinder in Delhi is now ₹1,580, down from the earlier ₹1,631.50. These revised rates came into effect from September 1, 2025.

No change for domestic consumers

However, there is no relief for household consumers this time. The price of the 14.2 kg domestic LPG cylinder remains unchanged.

Relief throughout the year

If we look at 2025, commercial cylinder prices have been reduced almost every month (except March):

  • January 2025: Cut by ₹14.50
  • February: Reduced by ₹7
  • March: Prices increased by ₹6
  • April: Sharp cut of ₹41
  • May: Reduced by ₹14
  • June: Cut by ₹24
  • July: Biggest relief with a reduction of ₹58.50
  • August: Prices reduced by ₹33.50
  • September: Another relief with a cut of ₹51.50

Commercial LPG cylinder prices depend on multiple factors like global crude oil and gas prices, currency exchange rates, and tax structures. OMCs review prices on the 1st of every month and make adjustments accordingly.

Summary :
Oil Marketing Companies cut 19 kg commercial LPG price by ₹51.50 starting September 1, while 14.2 kg domestic cylinder rates remain unchanged.
