Moga, May 13, 2025 : The district administration of Moga is committed to honoring and respecting ex-servicemen and their families. Every possible effort is being made to support the welfare of the families of martyred soldiers. Citizens of the district, along with school/college authorities and various department officials/employees, are encouraged to contribute generously to the Flag Day Fund, which is used for the welfare of ex-servicemen and their families.
These remarks were made by the Deputy Commissioner-cum-Chairperson of the District Sainik Board, Moga, while presiding over the quarterly meeting of the board. Present at the meeting were Additional Deputy Commissioner (G) Mrs. Charumita, Lt. Col. Dr. Sukhmeet Minhas (Retd.), Vice-Chairperson of the District Sainik Board, and other board members. Retired Group Captain Davinder Singh Dhillon, Secretary of the District Sainik Board Moga, was also in attendance.
During the meeting, Group Captain Davinder Singh Dhillon (Retd.) raised issues regarding the construction of a Sainik Sadan, collection of Flag Day funds, complaints related to the police department, and giving priority hearing to servicemen at the Suvidha Centre. These matters were brought to the attention of the Deputy Commissioner, who instructed the concerned authorities to resolve them promptly and effectively.
