Deputy Commissioner Congratulates Jatin for Securing 171st Rank in NEET Exam

Sri Muktsar Sahib, 21 July 2025  : President-cum-Deputy Commissioner of the Red Cross Society, Sri Muktsar Sahib, Shri Abhijeet Kaplish met and encouraged Jatin, a youth from Ward No. 19, Guru Ravidas Nagar, Malout, who secured 171st rank in the NEET exam under the SC category at the national level. The Deputy Commissioner met Jatin at his residence and presented him with a laptop as a token of appreciation.

While encouraging Jatin, the Deputy Commissioner announced that the entire cost of his five-year education and hostel stay will be borne by the Red Cross Society. He also shared words of inspiration with Jatin, saying, “Once you complete your education and reach a good position in life, you should also help a needy child pursue their education in the same way.”

Jagmohan Singh, Secretary of the Red Cross Society-cum-District Welfare Officer, Sri Muktsar Sahib, informed that a new welfare scheme has been initiated under which the Red Cross Society will cover the education expenses of 10 needy and meritorious students.
