Bathinda, 30 July 2025 : Deputy Commissioner Mr. Shaukat Ahmed Pare held a review meeting regarding the activities being carried out by various departments under the Drug-Free Campaign and issued necessary directions.
Presiding over the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner inquired from the concerned officials about the initiatives being undertaken in the district as part of the campaign. He instructed that a future action plan must be prepared using the funds received under the campaign and a detailed report should be submitted.
Additionally, the Deputy Commissioner directed the officials to organize more seminars, sports activities, street plays, and painting competitions under the Drug-Free Campaign to create public awareness about the harmful effects of drug addiction.
Present on the occasion were District Social Security Officer Dr. Lovleen Warring, District Program Officer Mr. Pankaj Maurya, and other officials.
