Faridkot, 09 April : Under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, a special campaign is being conducted throughout the month of April to complete the e-KYC of beneficiary farmers, as per the directions of the Director, Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Department. This information was shared by Chief Agriculture Officer of Faridkot, Dr. Kulwant Singh.
He stated that those beneficiary farmers whose previous installment was not released due to incomplete e-KYC can visit their nearest Common Service Center or complete their e-KYC themselves through the PM-Kisan app. To support this initiative, the Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Faridkot, has deployed its staff at the village level. Farmers can also contact them for assistance with the e-KYC process.
In addition to this, under the same campaign, work related to Aadhaar seeding and land seeding of farmers will also be carried out. So far, a total of 46,930 beneficiary farmers in the Faridkot district have applied, out of which 39,041 (83%) have completed their e-KYC. The remaining beneficiaries are encouraged to complete their e-KYC during this special campaign so they can receive the benefit of the 20th installment.
