FIR Filed Against Punjab Congress MLA Partap Singh Bajwa

Bhogpur, April 29, 2025 : The issue of setting up a Bio CNG plant at the Bhogpur Cooperative Sugar Mill is once again heating up. Recently, various factions from Bhogpur staged a protest at the Adampur T-point on the National Highway in Bhogpur city. Following this, an FIR was registered against around 100-150 individuals, including Congress MLA Sukhwinder Singh Kotli. The protest was attended by Congress members, social organizations, the Bhogpur Market Association, and various farmer groups.

In this case, an FIR was filed based on the complaint of Jaswant Kumar, son of Surinder Prasad. The police have named Sukhwinder Singh Kotli, MLA of Adampur constituency, Raj Kumar Raja, Ashwan Bhalla, residents of Bhogpur, Vishal Bahl, Charanjit Singh, Gurdeep Singh, residents of Dalla and Chak Jhandu village, Lovdeep Singh alias Lucky of Moga, Amritpal Singh of Kharalkala, Rakesh Kumar Bagga, Seetal Singh, Subedar Surjeet Singh, Rahul, Manjeet Singh, Monu, Sunil Khosla, Deepak Multani, Arvinder Singh Jhamat, Narinder Kumar alias Nindi of Moga, Amit Arora, Fauji, Ranjit Singh, Jatinder Singh, and 100-150 others in connection with the protest. The Bhogpur police station has filed a case against them.
