Under the ‘Chief Minister Health Scheme’ launched by the Punjab Government with the objective of providing quality healthcare facilities to the people of the state and ensuring health security, MLA Gurinder Singh Gary Barring began the distribution of health cards in various villages of the Amloh constituency. SDM Amloh Ms. Harveer Kaur was also present on the occasion.
Health cards were distributed to a large number of people in Bhaddalthuha, Tandabadda Kalan, Faizullapur, Shahpur, Badinpur, Saunti, Ward No. 3 of Amloh, and Ram Bhawan.
Speaking on the occasion, MLA Gurinder Singh Gary Barring said that the ‘Chief Minister Health Scheme’, launched by the Punjab Government under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, is an important initiative in the healthcare sector. He said the objective of the scheme is to ensure that no family has to face financial difficulties due to the high cost of medical treatment.
He said that under the Chief Minister Health Scheme, every eligible beneficiary is entitled to free health insurance coverage of up to ₹10 lakh per family for the treatment of various illnesses. It is pertinent to mention that the scheme is already operational and eligible beneficiaries are receiving relief from the burden of expensive medical treatment whenever required.
Among those present on the occasion were District Council Chairman Singara Singh Salana, Block Samiti Chairman Ranjit Singh Panag, Market Committee Amloh Chairman Iqbal Singh Rai Anniyan, Constituency Youth President Pradeep Singh Kanjari, Sarpanch Bugga Amrit, Jaswant Singh Tangrala, Jashanpreet Singh Bhangu, Harminderpal Singh, Dharampal Singh, Hardev Singh, and other Sarpanchs.
