Students of Guru Teg Bahadur (GTB) Public School, Bararwal, brought laurels to their school and the region with an impressive performance in badminton during the district-level school sports competitions being held at the local Police Lines, Sangrur.
In the Under-14 girls’ badminton competition, the school’s talented students Mansirat Kaur (daughter of Rupinder Singh) and Charul (daughter of Amarjit) displayed excellent sporting skills and won the silver medal. Meanwhile, in the Under-17 boys’ category, Uparaj Jujhar Singh (son of Rupinder Singh) and Samratdeep Singh (son of Gagandeep Singh Rajput) showcased outstanding performance and clinched the gold medal. With this remarkable achievement, all four players have secured their selection for the state-level sports competitions.
To encourage the victorious players, Chief Minister Field Officer Arvind Kumar (PCS), In-charge of the Chief Minister’s Campus Office Dr. Anwar Bhasaur, and Badminton Coach Parminder Singh Vicky felicitated the talented players and congratulated them on their achievement. They also motivated the players to achieve greater success at the state and national levels in the future.
