Nangal, 09 June 2025 : The annual religious event was celebrated with great enthusiasm at the Siddh Baba Bagechi Wale in the village of Sahijowal. Cabinet Minister S. Harjot Singh Bains was specially present on this occasion. While addressing the congregation, the Cabinet Minister said that he feels very honored because this is a very historic temple of the area, where every person’s faith is deeply connected.
Addressing the congregation, the Cabinet Minister said that he has had the opportunity to serve at the great and sacred land of Shri Anandpur Sahib. He said that along with essential pursuits of human life, the role of social service organizations, groups, and their leaders, who actively participate in religious events and social work, is highly commendable. These organizations selflessly serve the needy and those attending the religious ceremonies.
He said that he is always ready to serve this temple, and whatever service the managing committee assigns to him, he will perform it with complete honesty. On this occasion, the congregation was connected to the Guru’s feet through the long hymns in praise of Siddh Baba Balak Nath’s offering. The temple managing committee welcomed the Cabinet Minister and the entire congregation warmly. At the end of the event, the managing committee honored the Cabinet Minister with a special tribute.
S. Bains said that today, the pursuits of life have greatly increased, but we must take time from our busy lives to stay connected with our culture, religion, and heritage and keep future generations linked with this legacy. He added that many prominent personalities from the area were also present and worked with a spirit of service. On this occasion, Jagdish Kumar, Naveen Kumar, Narinder Kumar, Jaginder Kumar, Davinder Kumar, Happy, Jaswinder Singh, Tarlochan, Dovesh Kumar, Bobby, Ashok Kumar, and a large number of devotees were present.
