Heroin, Opium Seized via Drone at India-Pakistan Border

June 11, 2025 : The Government of India’s Operation Sindoor is still ongoing, but the neighboring country continues its nefarious activities. Once again, a Pakistani drone has been spotted on Indian soil. Reportedly, the BSF (Border Security Force) has once again foiled an attempt at drug smuggling via drone from the India-Pakistan border.

A drone from Pakistan was recovered along with a packet containing 541 grams of heroin and 30 grams of opium. The BSF recovered the drone from Rodawala Khurd in Amritsar. The drone has been seized by the BSF, and a search operation is underway in the area.

As part of this search operation, BSF personnel are conducting thorough checks in every corner of the border region. This success is the result of the BSF personnel’s diligent efforts, sharp vigilance, and use of technology.

Summary: A drone was recovered by security forces at the India-Pakistan border, which was being used in an attempt to smuggle drugs.
