Internet Services Suspended in Punjab District Amid Rising Tensions

Punjab 09 May 2025: After the rising tensions between India and Pakistan, missiles were fired and drone attacks were carried out by Pakistan in several districts of Punjab on Thursday evening. Amid this, a major update has come from Faridkot district, where internet services have been suspended. The order has been issued by the Deputy Commissioner of Faridkot. It has been reported that internet services have been down since last night.

It is worth noting that the Punjab government has decided to close all schools, colleges, and universities in the state for three days. According to reports, there were two attacks in Pathankot—one was a drone attack near the Air Force station, and the other was a missile that was shot down by the Indian Army near Mamun Cantt.
