22 December 2025 : The makers of ‘Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups’, one of the most anticipated films of 2026, have unveiled the first look of Kiara Advani as Nadia, adding fresh momentum to Yash’s return to the big screen. The role marks a shift in Kiara’s filmography as she steps into the raw, stylised world crafted by director Geetu Mohandas.
The first-look poster presents Kiara in a glamorous frame set against a vivid circus backdrop. Yet, beyond the spectacle lies a character marked by grief and emotional depth. The imagery hints at a performance-driven narrative, suggesting Nadia is far from a conventional role and could signal a transformative milestone in Kiara’s career.
Mohandas said: “Some performances don’t just belong to a film, they redefine an artist. What Kiara created on screen in this film is nothing short of transformative. As a director, I am deeply proud of her and of the performance she has delivered, and of the faith and heart she brought into our shared journey.”
‘Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups’ marks Yash’s first release since ‘KGF: Chapter 2’, which redefined box-office benchmarks four years ago. The announcement of Kiara’s first look coincides with the seventh anniversary of ‘KGF’, the film that launched a cinematic phenomenon and cemented Yash’s pan-Indian stardom.
Written by Yash and Geetu Mohandas and directed by Mohandas, ‘Toxic’ has been filmed simultaneously in English and Kannada, with dubbed versions planned in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and several other languages.
The film boasts a formidable technical team, including National Award-winning cinematographer Rajeev Ravi, composer Ravi Basrur, editor Ujwal Kulkarni and production designer TP Abid. Action sequences have been choreographed by Hollywood action director JJ Perry (‘John Wick’) alongside National Award-winning duo Anbariv.
Produced by Venkat K. Narayana and Yash under KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations, ‘Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups’ is scheduled for a grand theatrical release on March 19, 2026, coinciding with Eid, Ugadi and Gudi Padwa.
