Chandigarh 27 May 2025 : A suspected COVID-19 patient is under treatment at a private hospital in Mohali, but the Health Minister said there is no need for anyone to panic.
The Health Department has completed all preparations, and the Punjab government is capable of handling any situation. Dr. Balbir Singh said that the COVID-19 suspect found in Mohali is not related to Punjab.
In an advisory issued by the Punjab government, it was stated that apart from pregnant women, people who already suffer from asthma, tuberculosis, or heart diseases are more likely to be affected quickly by COVID-19. The Health Department has advised using masks when going outside and keeping hands sanitized.
