Sri Anandpur Sahib, 3rd February : Singh Sahib Giani Sultan Singh, Jathedar of Takht Sri Kesgarh Sahib, Sri Anandpur Sahib, had a special meeting with Sub-Divisional Magistrate Jaspreet Singh, where they discussed the administrative arrangements being made for the Hola Mohalla festival. Additionally, they discussed other arrangements related to the festival.
The Hola Mohalla festival will be celebrated at Kiratpur Sahib from March 10 to 12, and at Sri Anandpur Sahib from March 13 to 15, with preparations underway by the administration. During this time, millions of devotees gather to visit the Gurudwaras. Singh Sahib Giani Sultan Singh and SDM Jaspreet Singh reviewed the cleaning of the mela area, road repairs, uninterrupted electricity supply, drinking water supply, and other ongoing arrangements.
They mentioned that Deputy Commissioner Rupnagar, Shri Himanshu Jain, IAS, had conducted two meetings with district officials to review the arrangements being made. All departments are working with dedication, hard work, and a spirit of service. Singh Sahib emphasized ensuring smooth traffic arrangements, uninterrupted movement, security, parking, and other services for the convenience of the devotees during the fair. SDM and Mela Officer Jaspreet Singh assured that all the facilities would be available on time.
Manager Malkeet Singh, Additional Manager Hardev Singh, and Information Officer Harpreet Singh informed that millions of devotees, both from within the country and abroad, will be arriving at Sri Anandpur Sahib and Kiratpur Sahib for the occasion. Large numbers of devotees from Guru Ka Lahore, Himachal Pradesh, will also be attending. Arrangements for their convenience, transparency in vehicle entry procedures at the mela area, and other necessary arrangements will be made. Work Coordinator Officer Harbakhsh Singh and other department officers were also present during the meeting.
