Mehal Kalan, 4 July 2025 : Deputy Commissioner of Barnala, Mr. T. Bainith, visited various offices in the Mehal Kalan Sub-Division to inspect the functioning and also reviewed the ongoing work at the Sports Park in village Thikriwala.
On this occasion, the Deputy Commissioner inspected the SDM office, Tehsil, Fard Kendra, and other offices, interacting with the public to gather feedback.
Additionally, he reviewed the construction of the Sports Park in Thikriwala, which is being developed at a cost of ₹25.55 lakh. Approximately 95% of the work has already been completed. Officials present informed that the remaining work will be completed in the coming days.
He instructed the contractors and officials to ensure quality work is completed within the set timeline and also spoke with village residents to gather their suggestions.
Additional Deputy Commissioner (Development) Mr. Satwant Singh and other officials were also present during the visit.
