Moga residents showing interest in election quiz competitions dedicated to National Voter’s Day

Moga, January 8: To ensure maximum public participation in democracy and raise awareness about the constitutional right to vote, the Chief Election Officer of Punjab is organizing both online and offline competitions under the “Punjab Election Quiz-2025” dedicated to National Voter’s Day.

Additional Deputy Commissioner and Additional District Election Officer, Charumita, informed that Moga residents are showing great interest in these competitions, with 204 participants already registered in just a few days. She mentioned that awareness is being spread through schools, colleges, and other institutions, and the registration number is expected to increase.

The registration deadline is January 17, 2025. The online quiz will take place on January 19, 2025, and the offline state-level competition will be held on January 24, 2025. The winners of the online quiz at the district level will be recognized, with the final offline competition for the district winners from 23 districts held in Ludhiana on January 24, 2025.

The prizes for the state-level competition include laptops, Android tablets, and smartwatches. Winners will be honored by the Chief Election Officer of Punjab on National Voter’s Day in Ludhiana.

Online registration for the Punjab Election Quiz-2025 is available at https://Punjab.indiastatquiz.com/, and participants need to submit voter ID, Aadhaar, or a school/college-issued identity card to register.

The Additional District Election Officer has appealed to young voters to participate enthusiastically in the online quiz competitions organized for National Voter’s Day.
