Navjot Kaur Sidhu Files Complaint Over ₹2 Crore Fraud in Property Deal

Chandigarh 4 Aug 2025 (Punjab Khabarnama Bureau): In the case involving fraud of crores of rupees with Navjot Kaur Sidhu, the Punjab and Haryana High Court has delivered a major decision. The court has directed the Punjab government to initiate the process of bringing the main accused, Gagandeep Singh, back to India from Dubai.

The case dates back to 2019, when Gagandeep Singh allegedly lured Navjot Kaur Sidhu into investing in a property located in Zirakpur and cheated her of approximately ₹10.35 crore. After committing the fraud, the accused fled and has been hiding in Dubai.

The High Court has ordered the Punjab government to bring the accused back to India and to submit his passport in court. The government has been given time until next Tuesday to take appropriate action on the matter.
