Tarn Taran, May 20, 2025 : To provide employment to unemployed youth candidates, the Government of Punjab, under the guidance of the Hon’ble Deputy Commissioner of Tarn Taran, Mr. Rahul IAS, and the supervision of Additional Deputy Commissioner (Rural Development) Tarn Taran, Mr. Sanjeev Kumar Sharma, is organizing a self-employment / placement camp on May 21, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at District Employment and Business Bureau, Tarn Taran, Room No. 115, First Floor, DC Office Complex, Sarhali Road (Village Piddi), Tarn Taran.
Providing information regarding the event, Mr. Vikram Jeet, District Officer for Employment Generation, Skill Development, and Training, Tarn Taran, has urged unemployed candidates to actively participate in the placement/self-employment camp.
Two companies will participate in the placement camp:
- Pukhraj Healthcare Company is looking for advisors.
- Minimum Qualification: 12th pass
- Salary: ₹15,000 (only for girls)
- Age limit: 20–35 years
- Airtel Company is looking for salesmen.
- Salary: ₹11,300 + PF (Provident Fund)
- Age limit: 18–40 years (only for boys)
- Requirements: Must have own bike and Android phone
The self-employment camp is being organized with the cooperation of:
- General Manager, District Industries Centre
- Deputy Director, Dairy Department
- Deputy Director, Fisheries Department, Tarn Taran
- Deputy Director, Animal Husbandry
- District Manager, SCFC
- Lead District Manager, Tarn Taran
At this camp, various departments will provide information about available self-employment schemes, training, and employment opportunities. Eligible candidates will also have the opportunity to fill out application forms for loan and departmental schemes on the spot.
Both boys and girls can participate in this self-employment camp.
