30 September 2025 : Prime Minister Narendra Modi welcomed United States President Donald Trump’s plan for ending the conflict in Gaza on Tuesday. He said that it provides a “viable pathway” for “sustainable” peace for Israeli and Palestinian people.
“We welcome President Donald J. Trump’s announcement of a comprehensive plan to end the Gaza conflict. It provides a viable pathway to long term and sustainable peace, security and development for the Palestinian and Israeli people, as also for the larger West Asian region,” Modi wrote in a post on X.
He also expressed hope “that all concerned will come together behind President Trump’s initiative and support this effort to end conflict and secure peace.”
This comes after the US President announced his plan of ending the war in Gaza in the presence of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Monday (local time) during the latter’s visit to the White House. The peace proposal has been accepted by Israel.
