May 27, 2025 : The government has decided to hold a PTM (Parent-Teacher Meeting) in Punjab schools before the summer holidays on July 2. This meeting will be held on May 31 across all primary, middle, high, and senior secondary schools. It will be mandatory for all parents to attend, and the responsibility for organizing it will lie with the school principal.

All parents will be informed about the assignments to be given to their children during the summer vacation. Parents will also be encouraged to ensure that the work is completed diligently. - Information on Upcoming Tests
Parents will be briefed about the monthly tests scheduled after the holidays. These tests will begin on July 15, and the parents will be informed about the syllabus in advance. - Mission Samarth
Details about video lectures and practice questions to be sent for students of Grades 3 to 8 under Mission Samarth during the holidays will be shared so that learning continues without interruption.
Effort to Improve Results:
There are 18,000 government schools in Punjab, with over 3 million students enrolled. A similar number of students study in private schools. The government is striving to enhance the quality of government schools. For this purpose, teachers are being trained with the help of experts from Singapore and IIM Ahmedabad. The government hopes to see positive outcomes in the coming days.
