Chandigarh, December 5, 2024 (Navroze Bureau) – After the farmers of Noida, now the farmers of Punjab are ready to march to Delhi. Kisan Mazdoor Morcha chief Sarwan Singh Pandher has announced a do-or-die battle for the march to Delhi and has called upon the farmers to reach Shambhu border by 6 pm on Thursday.
The farmer organizations and cadres have been asked to send the message of Delhi march to the farmer organizations and social organizations across the country through their social media handles. On behalf of the United Kisan Morcha (non-political) and Kisan Mazdoor Morcha, in a press conference in Shambhu on Wednesday, it was said that the organizations are ready for a do-or-die battle for the welfare of the farmers. They want to go to Delhi for the demands of the farmers and now no one can stop them from going there.
Pandher said that we are not going to be afraid of any strictness of the government. He said that the administration has already been made clear about this by the farmer organization. On the call of farmer leaders, a large number of farmers have started reaching Shambhu border since Wednesday. During the press conference, Sarwan Singh Pandher thanked the Panchayats supporting the farmer movement, farmer organizations BKU Ekta Azad, BKU Doaba, BKU Shaheed Bhagat Singh Haryana, Rashtriya Kisan Sabha Madhya Pradesh, farmers of Punjab and Rajasthan and workers of social organizations and all the people. At the same time, the police have also pasted notices related to Section 144 on the Shambhu border. Police patrolling has been increased on the Shambhu border towards Ambala.
