April 22 : The Punjab government today transferred three IAS and nine PCS officers. According to the orders issued by Punjab Chief Secretary K.A.P. Sinha, IAS officer Sanyam Aggarwal has been given the additional charge of Special Secretary, Health and Family Welfare Department, along with Director of Higher Education.
Pallavi has been assigned the responsibilities of Special Secretary, Water Supply and Sanitation Department, in addition to heading the same department, as well as Special Secretary, Power Department, and Special Secretary, New and Renewable Energy Sources Department. Sukhjeet Pal Singh has been given the additional charge of Additional Secretary, Housing and Urban Development Department, along with his existing role as Additional Secretary, Health and Family Welfare Department.
The state government has appointed PCS officer Rakesh Kumar Popli as Additional Chief Administrator of Punjab Urban Planning and Development Authority. Nayan has been assigned as Secretary, Punjab State Transparency and Accountability Commission, and Member Secretary, Punjab State Scheduled Castes Commission, in addition to his role as Joint Secretary, Water Supply and Sanitation Department.



Simarpreet has been appointed as SDM Tapa, Jagdeep Sehgal as Joint Director Local Government, Vikas Heera as Additional Chief Administrator of Punjab Urban Planning and Development Authority, Harpreet Singh Atwal as SDM Barnala, Inayat as Chief Administrator of Amritsar Development Authority, Harjinder Singh Jassal as Milkh Officer of Amritsar Development Authority, and Rishav Bansal as SDM Dhuri.
According to the orders issued by the Revenue Department, 56 Tehsildars have been transferred. Some of the key transfers include:
