Punjab government extended the arms license application deadline to January 31, 2025

Gurdaspur, January 13 – In Punjab, arms license-related services are provided through the e-service portal via service centers. According to a letter issued by the e-Governance Society of the Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances Department, Mohali, those license holders who have not applied for any service related to their arms license on the e-service portal since September 2019 will not be provided any services after January 31, 2025.

Additional District Magistrate, Gurdaspur, Shri Harjinder Singh Bedi, IAS, has instructed the residents of Gurdaspur district who hold arms licenses to immediately renew their licenses and apply for any other services before January 31, 2025, by submitting the necessary documents at the nearest service center.

He mentioned that the previous deadline for applying was December 31, 2024, which has now been extended by the Punjab government to January 31, 2025. Therefore, license holders who have not used the e-service portal since 2019 must immediately renew their licenses through the service center. The list of such license holders has been uploaded on the website https://gurdaspur.nic.in/.
