7 April 2025 : A major reshuffle has been carried out in the Punjab Police administration. The Home Department has transferred 97 IPS officers, with most of the transfers involving SPs. Among them are 3 IPS officers and 94 PPS officers. The latest orders include transfers of officers ranging from the rank of IG to SP. Officers of ranks such as AIG, DCP, ASP, and ADCP are also included. According to the orders issued by the Punjab Government, the following officers have been transferred.
