21 April 2025 : The SSP of Gurdaspur district, Aditya, has transferred 250 police personnel who had been posted at the same place for several years. Most of these officers have been assigned to 12 police stations to strengthen the police force there, while the remaining have been sent to the police lines.
According to information, three SHOs have also been transferred. These include Gurmeet Singh (Gurdaspur City), Omkar Singh (Behrampur), and Mohan Lal (Puranashala). The in-charge of the Jora Chhatran police post has also been removed.
